Senior Citizen’s Club
The senior citizens of Woden first met on November 12, 1973 to organize a Senior Citizen’s Club. They now meet once a week for lunch in the community center. On occasion they also hold activities such as card nights.

4-H Clubs: Bingham Best and Bingham Champions
The girls 4-H club, now known as Bingham Best first met on May 27, 1925. Currently the club is combined with the one from Crystal Lake, as is the boys club. Known as the Bingham Champions the boys club first met in 1938. Both clubs participate in the Hancock County Fair each year and some go on to the Iowa State Fair. They also participate in community service activities and attend the state 4-H camp.

Woden Commercial Club
The Commercial Club has been in existence for many years. They sponsor many activities each year including a barbecue pork feed, Santa Claus with distribution of toys, and a Halloween costume contest. The club is also responsible for upkeep of the South Park as well as the North Park and skating rink.

TOPS #806, Iowa
The TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) club was first organized on March 26, 1973. They met in the Elementary School building but soon moved to the library meeting room. They currently hold meetings there on Monday nights.

American Legion Post #628
In 1946 the American Legion Post #628 was organized. Previously the veterans of World Wars I anmemorialdayd II were members of the Britt American Legion Post.The Legion at the Memorial Day Service, 1998 Since the Post received its charter they have maintained the Woodman Hall, now known as the community center. Fund raising projects are held each year including a Feather Party just before Thanksgiving. On Memorial Day the members conduct the services at the Bingham Township Cemetery. The members also maintain an honor guard for military rites at funerals.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 628
The Woden Unit #628 of the American Legion Auxiliary was organized February 11, 1947. Prior to that time the women had belonged to the Britt unit. During the year the unit remains active with activities such as making wreaths for graves of service people, selling poppies, and helping the Legion with various activities.
