A library for the town of Woden was first sponsored b the Federated Women’s Club as a community project. It was organized May 12, 1960 and was located in the basement of the First State Bank. It opened on November 30, 1960. A new library building was built in 1972-73.
The library currently offers loans on books, magazines, and videos. They are also connected to the Internet. People wishing to use the Internet may do so during the library hours. The computers may also be used for word processing purposes. Books which the library does not carry may be obtained via inter-library loan by using the Iowa Locator system.
Monday: 9:30 to 10:30 AM and 3:30 to 5 PM
Tuesday: 9:30 to 10:30 AM and 3:30 to 5 PM
Wednesday: 9:30 to 10:30 AM and 3:30 to 8 PM
Thursday: 9:30 to 10:30 AM and 3:30 to 5 PM
Saturday: 9:30 to Noon and 3:00 to 5 PM
