Woden Public Library Fundraiser Breakfast
St. John’s Pancake Supper
St. John’s Lutheran Church will hold its annual pancake supper on March 14, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the church. The menu is all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, pie and beverage. Freewill offering. Proceeds will support missionary Elisabeth Johnson.
July 25 Tractor Tour Will Stop in Woden
The 2015 Hancock County Fair 11th annual Tractor Tour conducted by the Hancock County Agricultural Museum will swing through Woden on Saturday, July 25.
Each year the tour visits a different area of the county. This year the tour will visit Woden for their mid-afternoon water and rest break at the shelter house in the North Park.
Drivers interested in participating should register by Monday, July 6. Contact Darrell Schaper at 641-843-4362 for more information and application forms.

Vegas Night 2015
Woden’s annual Vegas Night will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 6pm-Midnight.
Doors open at 6pm for the meal, with black jack and dice starting at 7pm. Cost is $15 at the door, and includes keg beer and pork loin meal. Must be 21 to enter. See Facebook event for details.
All proceeds benefit the Woden Community Club.
Firemen’s Breakfast
The Woden Volunteer Firemen’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 6:30am – 10:00am at the Woden Fire Station.
Santa Claus is coming to Woden

Santa will be visiting the Community Center in Woden on Saturday, December 20 at 9am!
10 years of Thanksgiving at Wubben’s
Wubben’s Bar & Grill held their 10th annual community Thanksgiving celebration this year. The Britt News Tribune covered the event and has a nice write up with pictures on the Globe Gazette site.
Help Woden win!
Woden Community Club has applied for a grant from Wellmark that would be used towards park improvement, for a sand volleyball pit. There are 10 grants being awarded for the amount of $7500 each.
Help Woden win! The winners are determined by public vote and you can vote once a day from August 20-September 7.
Memorial Day
The American Legion Post of Woden will be having a scrambled egg breakfast on Memorial Day from 6:30-8:30am at the Community Center. Freewill donations will be accepted.
Memorial Day Service at Bingham Cemetery will be at 9:30am with fellowship and goodies served by the American Legion Auxiliary to follow at the Community Center. Remember to wear a poppy to honor our veterans.
